Who we are

We are proud to be based in Conegliano, in the heart of the Prosecco hills, the 55th Italian site to have been declared UNESCO World Heritage.
Our company was established there in 1957, by “il signor Dino” (“Mr Dino”) Tombacco, and it now boasts a 25,000 sqm facility, employing 35 people.
Our winery constantly strives to find the right balance between past and present, tradition and technological innovation, in order to give this internationally renowned aroma a modern twist. We seek to protect and shape this taste according to the latest trends for a more progressive and responsible, high quality drinking experience.

Praising the Potestà

The tradition and wine excellence of the Marca Trevigiana were famous already during the middle ages: we have many different documents that attest to some "vini eccellentissimi" ("most excellent wines") from this area, in high demand in cities such as Venice and much sought after by kings and emperors all over Europe. The Conegliano wines were so popular that, since the fourteenth century, magistrates were sent from Venice to report back to the Doge on the quantity of wines, their quality, and their trade. The podestà, Zaccaria Contarini, was one of the most influential inhabitants of Conegliano, who left many traces of his government. We have dedicated our company to this famous personality: a true appraiser of wine and of the wonderful attractions of Conegliano.

The company takes part in one of the very first editions of Vinitaly

First Certification UNI EN ISO 9002

he company obtains its first British Retail Consortium (BRC) and International Food Standard (IFS) certifications.

2008

The new Contarini brand is created

2015

New restyling of the Valsè brand.

2016

The new Con Tré brand is created

One of the most important restylings of the Contarini brand, together with a new concept: Jewels to drink.

2019

New restyling of the Collinobili brand, with its peculiar traits reflecting elegance and precious details.

2020

New restyling of La Fornarina brand, influenced by history and art.

We proudly represent the Prosecco territory: we export its products worldwide so that anyone can taste the unique and peculiar characteristics of our bubbles.
Our ‘made in Italy’ has been valued for many years and in different countries, where the awareness of and the expertise related to wine are growing fast.
Currently our company is operating and present in both the Horeca channel and in the large-scale retail channel (GDO).
